The part when you wake up..

A NOTE TO MYSELF

So after you realize you were asleep for so long, you wake up.

It feels good, interesting but strange at the same time.. you kind of asked what made you fall asleep so sound?

You were sleeping in a land that was a facade , a fairytale created not just by you but by him too, it was were anything would work if it meant being in love.

You got used to it so much that you lost yourself somewhere inside of the dream, you forgot where you started and the dream began.

You think about why things didn't work, because it was a dream. It was reality nor was he, but who cares right, it was a dream, what's wrong with having dreams?

Here is the thing, when you dream it's part of your subconsciousness and your reality mixing to create a new perspective or vision or circumstance.. this doesn't translate well into relationships because relationships should be all about reality.

You fell asleep because he put you there, he shut your eyes, blinded you with a veil, blindfolded you with his promises, love and flattery.. it's sometimes called falling in love, but it's nothing further from the truth. Love isn't blind it's clear and see through, it has no faults and is pure.

This was full of faults, it has dark clouds built by lies and facade, fake promises and broken memories.

He promised to love you, he painted the perfect picture of love and made you feel like the perfect specimen to pain. Little did you know you were just another one of the many women he would paint.

Your a phase, a thought a memory nothing more, he left you and you were left to pick up the pieces.

The good part of it is, now that you have awoken you don't have to worry about why..

the questions, the care the ideas, the memories, they are all gone.. take comfort in that.

Take comfort in knowing that everybody has or will go through that somebody that scars them like they wont ever forget, and this is just the beginning of a whole new understanding of love. IF you never understood that love didn't exist a blindfold, you would probably still be wearing it.

You need to understand that being awake now is just as hard as the pain you went through realizing you were in a dream.. however this lesson will be one you never forget.

He probably won't leave your memory, you probably will always think of him, but not as a chance once missed, but as a tragedy avoided and a lesson you have learned from.

It's now your chance to embrace letting him go, it's taken you so long & you should be proud of getting here.
Sit back and relax this is progress and you ought to give yourself a pat on the back.

You may find yourself here again, but you would have felt the pain before. It's not forever, but it is essential to feel so that you can truly experience the magic of pure love.

Be strong, forget the good and concentrate on the bad he did, it wasn't a pleasant dream that your getting over, it's the nightmare part.

He will eventually fade completely and you definitely deserve better.

Remember he left you for a reason.. And when a glass breaks , even if you try and put it back together, there will always be cracks.

Never hold onto things that happened to change your fate, but embrace the change and look forward to the things that you least expect.

Change is constant and the one you love will constantly change to love you and you to love them.. it is eternal.
